Jay-Z to Perform 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium

Jay-Z will perform the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, the NFL and Roc Nation announced. The company Jay-Z leads has produced the halftime show since 2019 as a partner of the league.

The league has not named the two teams that will play in the game. The matchup will not be set until the end of January. The NFL also has not said whether any other artists will join Jay-Z on the stage.

Four performers have been discussed as possible guests. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have recorded together since before they began dating, starting with "'03 Bonnie and Clyde." Their later work includes "Crazy in Love" in 2003, "Drunk in Love," "Part II (On the Run)," "Deja Vu" and "Lift Off." The two have toured together. Beyoncé performed at the 2016 halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, sang the anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston in 2001, and appeared at the Houston halftime show on Christmas Day 2024.

Rihanna's path to a recording career ran through Jay-Z. In 2005, as CEO of Def Jam Records, he had her audition for him; she later moved to Roc Nation in 2010. They have recorded "Umbrella," "Run This Town" and "FourFiveSeconds" together. She joined his tour this year at Yankee Stadium. Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show and announced her pregnancy during the performance.

Blue Ivy Carter, the oldest child of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, danced during Beyoncé's Christmas Day 2024 halftime show in Houston and later appeared as a dancer on the Cowboy Carter tour. She has attended NFL games with her father.

Eminem appeared with Jay-Z on his current tour. The two recorded "Renegade" for Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. Eminem performed at the 2022 Super Bowl as part of a hip-hop lineup.

The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 14, 2027. The NFL has not announced any guest performers for the halftime show.
